Automatic Merit Scholarships are given automatically to transfer students in all majors based on their cumulative GPA. They can reach up to $11,500 per year, depending on a student's major. For these scholarships, your application to OCU doubles as your scholarship application. Note that all scholarships are subject to change.
This award is based upon cumulative college GPA. These scholarships are for students with majors within Kramer School of Nursing (excluding RN-BSN students), Meinders School of Business, or Petree College of Arts & Sciences. Full-time enrollment of 12 or more hours per semester is required for the scholarship.

Awards are renewable up to seven consecutive semesters (excluding summer terms) with required minimum cumulative 3.0 unweighted GPA.
This scholarship, effective Spring 2027, is awarded to transfer students in the Petree College of Arts & Sciences and the Meinders School of Business who complete at least 24 OCU credit hours during their first year, return for a second year of study, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Eligible students will automatically be considered for awards ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 based on GPA, with potential renewal for a third year of full-time enrollment.

Full-time enrollment of 12 or more hours per semester is required for the scholarship. This scholarship is renewable based on cumulative college GPA for a maximum of five consecutive semesters (excluding summer terms) with a required minimum cumulative 3.0 unweighted GPA.
