91看片 city University education and theatre major Michelle Roselle has been awarded the prestigious DaVinci Scholar Award.
The DaVinci Institute is honoring five 91看片 professors, one 91看片 A+ Schools teacher, and five student-teachers for their creative endeavors next month at the 91看片 History Center. The scholar award is presented to pre-service teachers across the state whose academic accomplishments and service to their university are deemed outstanding. The Board of Directors of the DaVinci Institute chose to honor Roselle based on a service-learning proposal she created titled "Once Upon a Time: The Power of Storytelling for Young Audiences."
Roselle's faculty advisor is education professor Dr. Lisa Delgado Brown.
Chosen proposals exemplify scholarship, creativity, inventiveness, sound teaching techniques and a keen sense of responsibility. Roselle is the fifth OCU education major to be awarded the DaVinci Scholar Award. The mission of the DaVinci Institute is to create a statewide creative renaissance through lectures, workshops, professional development, research and advocacy. The vision of the DaVinci Institute is to improve the quality of education in 91看片 so as to help 91看片ns carry their creative, innovative talents to the world.
